במיוחד נראו לי מעניינים הדברים הבאים:
ממה שהוא אומר שם, האוזניות בהחלט נקראות על פי החברה בתור HD700, לכל הפחות עד לשחרורן. ה-HD מרמז על Headphone Dynamic ומכאן ניתן להבין שמדובר באוזניות דינאמיות ולא אלקטרוסטטיות. עם זאת, נאמר כי התכנון יהיה חדש לגמרי, ושהאוזניות אמורות להציע רזולוציה טובה בהרבה מכל מה שיש עד עכשיו בסדרת האוזניות הזו, ושייעשה שימוש בתכנון חדש לגמרי במקום הדינאמי המוכר לנו. כמו כן, הן אמורות להיות מושקות השנה בעוד זמן לא רב (לא ניתן תאריך או רמז כלשהו). ולבסוף, נרמז שלא בטוח שהפלאג יישאר זהה ל-1/4 או 1/8 אינץ'.t's effectively called «HD 700» as a project name Sennheiser-internally -- It's going to be released this year -- The release date is not far away -- It's not an electrostatic design -- It's a completely new design, not a refined HD 650 -- It will have much higher resolution -- It will not be a conventional dynamic design -- Therefore it's not sure that the cable-connector system will remain the same...
Iron_Dreamer got it: The designation «HD» is a clear hint that it will indeed be a dynamic system. But this leaves room for speculation, considering the «unconventional» design. Maybe an orthodynamic system such as Yamaha's HP series or some Fostex models? Or a Heil AMT system like the Ergo? Pure ribbon drivers? Flat partial vibrators such as the Manger speakers?...
