עד כה קראתי לא מעט סקירות על כל מני מסכים.
אחד מהדגמים שאני שוקל לרכוש הינו ה-PFL8404H בגלל הביקורות הטובות של איכות הצפייה, ובגלל התוספות שבעיקרן קליטת השידורים דיגיטליים. כיוון שעל-פי הסקירה שהייתה כאן באתר על דגם ה-47PFL8404H עלתה בעיה לגבי התמיכה המלאה במפענח ה-Audio שזיהה גרסה ישנה יותר מאשר הגרסה של האות המשודר החלטתי לשאול את הנציגים של Philips. לאחר שמייל ששלחתי נותר ללא תשובה, התברר לי שישנה תמיכה און-ליין של אנשי שירות מ-Philips באתר הראשי שלהם.

Visitor: A review that is done in my country stated that the tv detects AAC V1, but they where uncertain whether if its only misreported, or it used that actually codec. Its important, since if V1 is used, there is no stereo, only mono
Jerome: Well I would say that as it is not mentioned, it does not support V2
Visitor: OK, can you check me whether an upgrade on this issue will be released in the future?
Jerome: There will not be an upgrade which allows V2
Visitor: what about supporting hebrew in the EPG, and on the tv applications, such as file names, and browsing the net?
Visitor: will you support hebrew fonts and encoding in the future?
Jerome: I'm afraid that there is no information about whether Hebrew fonts will be supported
Jerome: Personally I don't think they will be
Visitor: today there are not supported... its weird, since the whole wolrd is shifting towards Unicode, which include support on almost any language, including the language direction. can you please check it?
Jerome: OK. I've checked
Jerome: But I'm afraid it will not be supported
Visitor: OK.
Jerome: This model is not manufactured for sale in Israel
