צריבת קושחה של פופקורן על HDX

האם מישהו ניסה כאן ויכול להגיד אם כדאי ? אני לא מוצא תלינק של איך לעשות את הצריבה ? למישהו יש את הלינק ?

למה לצרוב? אתה יכול לעדכן ישירות דרך המכשיר (אם הוא מחובר לאינטרנט) או לשים על דיסק קשיח חיצוני\ דיסק און קי.

אתה מתכוון פשוט לעדכן את הגירסה של הפופקורן על ה HDX.

לעדכן הכוונה לצרוב את הפלאש על המכשיר...

טעות שלי. הייתי בטוח שאתה פשוט רוצה לעדכן את הקושחה של ה HDX.
לדעתי לא הכי חכם לנסות לעדכן קושחה של מכשיר אחד על מכשיר אחר. זה מתכון לצרות. למה שתרצה לעשות את זה בכלל?

יש מספיק מדריכים ברשת איך לצרוב את זה על ה istar, אז סביר להניח שזה יעבוד גם ל nmt אחרים.
בכל מקרה - אני לא לגמרי בטוח שזה חוקי (היה כבר דיון על זה בפורום) - אז אסתפק בזה

אני עשיתי את זה על סטרימר דור ראשון, עבד מעולה. על ה HDX שלי לא הייתי עושה את זה.

Hey Guys,

yesterday, i flashed the NEW [A110] Firmware 01-17-090125-15-POP-403 & Apps to my HDX1000:

DTS, DVD, AUTOFRAMERATESYNC,... -> Everything is working!!!!!!!!

I'll post the small tutorial and the latest firmware dump, because HDX1000 pissed me myself on a long time

HOW TO (Most of it isn't my work)



Please upgrade your NMT to the latest firmware before using this.

Be aware, Popcornhour NMT firmware does NOT support VGA.

If you need VGA, DO NOT FLASH THIS FIRMWARE.

It would be save to recover the existing hdx firmware dump. Look for a tutorial to backup firmware


Step 1: Install NMT application on your HDD (syb8634.nmt). If you have already installed, skip to step 2. If you don't know how to install NMT, please goto related forum for instructions.

Step 2: Goto SETUP-NETWORK. Write down your NMT player IP address. For example: 192.168.0.187

Step 3: Login onto your NMT's ftp using above IP address with any ftp client software such as cuteftp, the default user name is ftpuser, password is 1234

Step 4: Upload all six files onto NMT's ftp root directory. The root directory usually contain folders such as video,music,podcast,lost+found,photo,download.

Step 5: After the upload. Make all six files properties “Executable”
!!! That means: Set the rights to 777 via ftp !!! Google if you don't know how to do it

Step 6: Goto your NMT player Screen,
Choose Media Source
Open the Hard drive which you install NMT application.
Open the fourth File Icon.

Step 7: Open telnet-installer.html and press Run From Hard Disc.
Now the following step is very important, make sure don't power off during the proccess.

NEVER CLICK THE THE RUTURN BUTTON on
"Request Cannot Be Processed"
***Don't click on the 'Return' button****
Leave it alone on that screen and go to Step 8.


Step 8: Goto your PC, open PuTTY.exe
(PuTTy is a free telnet/ssh client, you could download from author’s site
www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/pu ... nload.html )
Enter your NMT IP address, choose Telnet and click open.

Step 9: In the PuTTY screen.
Paste this line onto the screen and press enter
/opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DISK/update.cgi

You should see something like this :

/opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DISK/update.cgi
./flash: /dev/mtd2: Bad block check not available
Erasing 128 Kibyte @ 460000 -- 14 % complete.

If so, the flash process has begun. First it would erase the current firmware. When it show 100% complete, it means the erasing is done. It will start to write Popcornhour firmware onto your NMT.

Please do NOT power off, do NOT close PuTTy screen or doing anything!
Just wait for your NMT player to restart. This process only takes 5-10 minutes.
After your NMT player restart, you should see the Popcornhour Icon and you are ready to go.

DTS decoding should work.

You also need to re-install the NMT application matching popcornhour’s firmware (=> the original popcorn A-110 -> popcornhour.com).

הצלחת לבצע DTS Downmix על מזרימדיה מבוסס HDMI 1.1?

הקושחה שצרבתי היא של MVIX780 על וריאנט של המכשיר, אם אני לא טועה ל MVIX יש DTS downmix מובנה, אני חושב שגם במכשיר לפני שצרבתי אותו זה היה קיים. אני פשוט לא בטוח כי אני משתמש ברסיבר לפיענוח, רק סדרות שומע באודיו של הטלוויזיה.

כמו שכתבתי מזרים דור ראשון, הניסיון שלי מצריבת קושחה של מכשיר אחר הייתה טובה וזה עבד, לפי מה שנכתב לעיל גם ניתן לעשות את זה ל HDX.

השאלה שנשאלת, אם זה נכשל האם אפשר ע"י שיטת החייאת המכשיר לצרוב עליו מחדש את הקושחה של HDX.

אומנם דור ראשון, אבל ממשפחה אחרת לגמרי. נסיון שנצבר על Mvix לא קשור בכלל למשפחת ה NMT, תהליך צריבת החומרה שם שונה לחלוטין.
