שנתקלים בבעיות עם ה- 50/60HZ .

להלן תשובה שהתקבלה מחברת הרמן לגבי הבעיה:

This should not always be true but with many movies and games it is. The reason is that Sony and PS3 don't want to support the EU PAL standard and have made about 50% of all Sony PS3 games in NTSC mode only.

The same is with many Blue-ray movies. They are NTSC and not the EU PAL version so the PS3 is playing NTSC (US mode, 60Hz) into our AVR which is an EU version so it is handling 50Hz signals. This generates some judder when the AVR tries to output a 60Hz signal as a 50 Hz. You can switch the AVR into US mode (60 Hz) by doing the following: - in standby mode, press the "Back/Exit-" button on the front panel, until the unit switches on and shows "PAL TO NTSC" on the front panel display. The AVR will now output a 60Hz frame rate. For correct playback of any 50Hz frame rate source material (normal European DVD, Blu-ray) the AVR needs to be reset to output 50Hz: - in standby mode, press the "Back/Exit-" button on the front panel, until the unit switches on and shows "NTSC TO PAL" on the front panel display. The AVR will now output a 50Hz frame rate.

As this problem is getting common all over Europe we have chosen to implement an Auto detection function in the next coming firmware update for the AVR 255-355. This firmware will be available within the next month and will be available through our website ww.harmankardon.com

נראה להם הגיוני שלפני כל הפעלת משחק או סרט נעשה את הפעולה הזאת? ובמיוחד כאשר מזפזפים ממקור למקור (כמו למשל מ- PS3 לממיר טלויזיה) ?!?!?!?!


דרך אגב - לאיזה בעייה זה מכוון בכלל? לבעיה של אובדן הסאונד בתפריטים? או שיש בעיה אחרת שאני לא מודע אליה?

דרך אגב - לאיזה בעייה זה מכוון בכלל? לבעיה של אובדן הסאונד בתפריטים? או שיש בעיה אחרת שאני לא מודע אליה?

אבל הם אומרים בפירוש שבחודש הבא הם יוציאו עידכון firmware אשר יפתור את הבעיה ע"י הוספת מצב auto detect.

אבל למה פה ולא בפורום קונסולות? אם היה לי מגבר מדגם שכזה ו PS3 בחיים לא הייתי מחפש את התשובה פה אלא בפורום קונסולות, לפה הגעתי די בטעות. לדעתי צריך או להעביר או ליצור ת'רד זהה שם, לא?
