לא כל הארדיסק פנימי יתאים ל HDX1000... האמנם?

Are you aware that not ALL HDD will be compatible to HDX-1000 NMT?!

- If you're reading this, please DO NOT purchase any Hitachi Deskstar 500GB model (SATAII - batch manufactured in August 2008) as its not compatible with HDX-1000 (note: I'm not referring to all NMT available in the market). It took me almost an hour or so this morning to find out the root problem when my HDX-1000 refused to install the NMT apps! I reformat the new Hitachi HDD 2 times using PC format to NTFS and then follow by EXT3 - no effect! And I even go to the extent of doing a native EXT3 format using my SmartStor NAS - still the little bugger refused to install the NMT apps for me! Damn! Took me from 8am - 9am just to resolve this HDD problem... So what exactly is/are the symptom(s) of an incompatible HDD the? I thought I heard ya? Heh...when you try to install NMT apps and formating to EXT2/3 FS seems to stuck mid-way! How do I know? the circular (rotating icon) on the top left hand corner of the screen stop spinning and there's hardly any activity on the HDD and remote failed to respond! As a last resort...I used a spare Samsung HDD (SATAII - 160GB only) and just as I suspected...it works! Thanks to HDX!

האמנם? מי שכבר התקין הארדיסק פנימי, מאיזה סוג והאם הכל זוהה והותקן כשורה?

כנראה הכונן הספציפי שהוא עשה בו שימוש לא היה תקין. חסרה בדיקה של הכונן על מחשב.
אין דבר כזה כונן שלא מתאים למזרימדיה, כולם יתאימו.
