How do I reset my RX-V1800 parameters to the factory settings?
This procedure is done using the front panel of the receiver.
1. Press Master On/Off to release it outward to the off position to turn off the unit.
2. Locate the Straight/Effect button.
3. While holding down the Straight/Effect button, press in the MASTER ON/OFF button.
4. The Advanced Menu will come up on the receivers front panel display, let go of the Straight/Effect button.
5. Locate the Program Selector and rotate it to the right until you see INTIALIZE CANCEL.
6. Press the Straight/Effect button repeatedly to select: INTIALIZE ALL.
7. Power the RX-V3800 off using the Master On/Off button.
8. Power the RX-V3800 back on using the Master On/Off button and the receiver is now set back to the original factory settings.
NOTE: This procedure completely resets all the parameters of this unit including the “SET MENU” parameters. However, the Advanced Setup Menu parameters will not be initialized.
