I want to spend 5-7 K less is better!

Note that main seat is 5 meters from tv but the tv seat is quite close to tv and to the side
I use HOT and have an Apex DVD which is not used that much
Sound will be via stereo system (not HT)
I was in a few shops in Holon and the best I saw was 37" Toshiba (AV500) but it was expensive at 7190 I also saw a JVC at same size (EX17) which was from tzuga and cost 5690 and was not bad
At another shop I saw the Toshiba A3500 from Tzuga for 5190 - it was difficult to compare to other models above as they didnt have them
At another shop I saw a plazma Toshiba 42PW8 for 5990 - it was a bit different from the LCD but I think I liked the picture. I liked the idea that for a plazma TV I dont get speakers because I dont need them. The TV seemed to be a bit on the hot side
As you can see all the shops were pushing 37 inch but I am open to
suggestions
I dont mind buying online either
I am not a TV freak so don't suggest all kind of features I dont need - my main interest is stereo. I could continue with the old elbit TV in picture but it has broken for second time in a year so we will upgrade but I need a simple picture provider not more and would prefer to save money if possible for my new speakers

If you're interested in a plazma screen, there's not much of a selection in smaller sizes. An EDTV plazma should be the best option for you as it offers more than sufficient picture quality at a price which is affordable to you.

I say 5-7 but prefer to save some money and buy at the low end and you give me stuff at 7k or just over
Isn't there a simple hd ready 40" lcd with a good picture but not a million features and as far as i care lousy sound (because I will use my stereo) that is closer to 5k then 7k
Or last years model marked down somewhere ?
