שני הרסיברים הם 9.2 ערוצים עם יכולת פענוח ל 11.2 ערוצים [ 7.2.4 ]
והם די דומים ביכולות כאשר שניהם הם הראשונים של ONKYO עם תמיכה
ב IMAX Enhanced בעזרת עדכון עתידי . ה 840 קצת יותר חזק והוא
גם THX Certified Select ועם תמיכה ב eARC . לשניהם 7 כניסות
ו 2 יציאות HDMI מערכת הכיול היא AccuEQ Advance 9-point calibration עם AccuReflex
כמובן ש 4K מלא ו HDR (Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG) וכמעט כל STREAMING אפשרי
כולל AirPlay 2 multi-room audio and voice control*10 with Sir .
