i updated both, OS Sierra on my macbook pro (mid 2012) and my apple TV (2nd Gen'), after updating the air play between the two devices did not work, after a few days and many intents it starting working (only now takes 15 seconds to image to apear on tv screen), long legs in video and sounds is really braking of all the time. a few times, while checking the apple tv, i saw that mirroring image over airplay is shutting down (gets disconnected) by itself after a few minutes, it is impossible too use the apple tv now.
