The LG use a IPS panel and the Samsung use a VA panel and this, in many cases, it is more important to the picture quality than the fact that the LG is a higher end model.IPS maintains good color accuracy at an angle, but has a poor contrast ratio when viewed straight on. VA has good picture quality in front, but loses saturation at an angle. This mean that if you are going to watch TV in a dark room, where you will be sitting straight in front of the TV, The Samsung KU6300 will provide a better picture quality, even if in some aspect, it may be behind the LG UH7700.
