נכון להיום, שלושה וחצי חודשים לאחר השקת המקרן, המחיר הזול ביותר אשר ניתן להשיגו בארה"ב הוא $2800. המחיר אינו רמאות, חבר ב AVS קונה בחנות הזו כל הזמן, וקנה שם גם את ה AE1000 במחיר הנקוב.

[left]Yes one unit is a USA model U and one is a European model E They are identical except for the additional scart input on the E model...(which you simply will never use)...It can be warranteed through Mack warranty...I have had Mack warranties on all my equipment including Pioneer Elite.[/left]

Regarding Mack, I know them well, but as far as I know, the warranty only begins after the manufaturer warranty ends, meaning in the first year you need to send the AE1000 for europe for repairs.
Did you insure the lamp too ?, how much did you pay Mack ?. Did they want to inspect the projector before giving you the warranty ?.[/left]

[left]Mack doesn't care if it is European or USA version...Their warranty overlaps the first year if something were to happen during the first year...I know for sure because I dealt with them on this exact issue with a Pioneer Elite receiver I bought from an unauthorized dealer... [/left]

I'm not doubting your experience, I just find it odd that they advertize one thing, and in practice act differently.

[left]The warranty does not cover the lamp...I can't remember the exact cost but it wasn't that much...you can call them...I have several components covered so I've lost track...It was this offer>>> 1043- 4 Year DVD Warranty (Over $1000) [/left]

בוא נגיד שבעקבות מה שאייל מצא, אנחנו כנראה לא נקנה בחנות הזו, כי קשה להתעסק עם חנות שעושה בעיות, כאשר אתה במרחק אלפי קילומטרים. מצד שני אני לא מפקפק בכך שהחבר הזה מ AVS קיבל את המחיר הזה, ואם קיבל, אז המחיר אפשרי, ואני מקווה שבמשך הזמן הקרוב נראה חנויות נוספות בארה"ב, עם רקורד טוב יותר, מציעות את ה AE1000 במחירים דומים.

בכל מקרה המחיר של $2800 הוא המחיר בחו"ל.
ב- pricejapan (שהם מאד אמינים) אפשר לקנות בהרבה יותר זול. אני קניתי את ה-HC5000 ב- 16000 והיום ניתן לקבל אותו בסביבות 14000 - וזה כולל משלוח ו 32.8% מס.

1. לא ניתן להנות מכל העולמות, לדעתי מחיר של 14000 למקרן 1080P לעומת מחיר רישמי בארץ של 28000 שווה את הסיכון. אני חשבתי שאם תיהיה בעיה רצינית אז אוכל להחזיר את המקרן. אם הבעיה פשוטה יותר אז ניתן לתקן אצל היבואן בארץ (וידאוסט) בתשלום. הם מאד נחמדים ונותנים שרות מעולה. קרה לי דבר דומה עם הרסיבר בעבר - בארץ רצו על ה denon 3300 בין 8000 ל 9000 ש"ח. הבאתי אותו מגרמניה ב 4800 אבל היתה לו תקלה שניופאן תיקנו עבור 380 ש"ח - עדיין כדאי.
2. PJ ענו לכל מייל שלי מהר מאד ואני בטוח יזמין דרכם בעתיד עוד מוצרים. רציתי אגב לצרף להזמנה מצלמה של sony, אבל אצלהם כל מוצר זה הזמנה נפרדת.
3. ה HC5000 לא המקרן הטוב ביותר בכל פרמטר בכל תנאי ועם כל מקור, ולכן אני מציע לך פשוט ללכת לראות אותו, הוא מוצג למשל בעולם הדיגיטלי.

יש מספר אנשים ב Ebay שמוכרים מקרנים מיפן, ומוסיפים את האפשרות לקנות אחריות של Mack. מכיוון שהמקרן מיפן, אחריות היצרן היא רק שנה. ביפן כל מוצרי החשמל מקבלים אחריות של שנה בלבד.
נכון, בעיות בהובלה זה סיפור אחר, אבל נגד זה אין ממש מה לעשות. אני יודע שיש מוכרים שמוכנים לבדוק את המקרן טרם ההובלה, ואז ניתן לבוא בטענות לחברת ההובלה אם הוא מתקבל לא תקין, אבל PJ לא מוכנים לספק את השירות הזה, גם לא תמורת תשלום נוסף.
