The news just keeps getting better for Empire. In Live + 3, the Fox drama’s Season 1 finale on March 18 drew 21.1 million viewers (8.4/27) making it the highest-rated freshman finale since the first season finale of Grey’s Anatomy on May 22, 2005, which drew a 9.8/24, according to Nielsen.
