[eng]Vera UI7 Beta Program Rollback Procedure
Dear Beta Participant,
Wanted to shoot out a quick followup email to the group with a simple recap of the rollback procedure, to UI5 or UI6, in the event you need to regress to a prior firmware version as part of your testing.
UI5 Rollback
To downgrade your unit to UI5 please follow these instructions:
Connect to Vera's interface from the same network to find out its local IP address.
Then go to the link below from the same network (replacing IP with the local IP address):
IP/cgi-bin/cmh/upgrade_step1.sh
Copy paste the URL below in the firmware field and hit ‘download’.
http://download.mios.com/rt3662_betafir ... s.squashfs
When prompted, select to downgrade your unit with ’Restore to defaults settings.'
When the downgrade is complete, you can restore a back-up, which can be found if you go from 'Advanced settings' to SETUP > Backup and save one from the list.
Then select the day your unit was working correctly and save the back-up file on your PC, then restore it on the same page under the Restore option but be sure to check "Restore Z-Wave network" so you will restore your Z-Wave network as well, and then press Restore.
Once it finishes, your unit will be the same it was on the day the backup was taken.
If you go back to UI5, please note that you’ll need to use the previous version of the mobile app called 'Vera mobile'. You will also need to use the cp.mios.com web portal with the username created on it.
UI6 Rollback
To downgrade your unit to UI6 please follow these instructions:

As always, should you have any questions, comments, or concerns please email us at [email protected].
Thanks again for your enthusiasm and support. We look forward to your continued feedback.
Sincerely,
The Beta Team
