1. מה זה אומר "מפרט בדיקה עבור היצרניות השונות יפורסם עד סוף שנת 2013 "
איזה בדיקה ? הרי יש תקן ?
2. Maximum clock rate 600MHz הנתון הוכפל מה זה אומר בפועל ?
3. HDMI 2.0 include support for 4:2:0 chroma subsampling מה זה אומר למה מיועד ?
4. improved 3D capability במה זה מתבטא ?
5. נאמר שתומך אחורנית , האם רסיברים יקבלו Firmware ?

אף רסיבר קיים לא יתמוך בזה. מדובר בשינוי מפרט ברמת החומרה. זה אומר לקראת חג ההמולד יופיעו דגמי רסיברים חדשים עם תמיכהב HDMI2... כמובן שכעבור חודשיים יגלו מספיק באגים בכדי להוציא גרסה 2.1... מסכן מי שרכש רסיבר יוקרתי בשנה האחרונה.. בקרוב פיוניר יוציאו סדרה sc-lx?8 ואונקיו יוציאו את סדרה X3X שתחליף את X2X. מהסיבה הזאת אני לא חושב על שדרוג עד 2015...

לצפייה בסרטי קולנוע על נגן בלו ריי אפילו שזה 4K לא חושב שצריך HDMI תקן 2 כי תקן 1.4 יכול לעשות את זה ואני מסכים מאוד עם מחבר הכתבה עופר ואם כן זה צורך מאתנו לשדרוג רסיבר או נגן לתקן החדש אני חושב שזה לא רלוונטי בשנתיים הקרובות אני חושב עד סוף 2015
Who Needs HDMI 2.0 and 2160p Video?

It's not about who NEEDS it, I WANT it. And so do you. Right now your 4K televisions have more processing and display capability than the HDMI inputs going into them or the broadcast standards feeding them content. In fact, in all the discussions around the arrival of Ultra-High Definition (UHD) and 4K televisions and projectors, there is still a gap in the delivery system for watching 4K content on these screens. Blu-ray is the one current disc platform with at least the capacity to contain such content, but to date no official word has been released on when we could expect any update to the platform to support 2160p playback. With HEVC coming, it may never happen.

So immediately, before all those other things fall in line, 2160p displays are going to be very useful for those who can connect them to gaming systems as well as users of DSLR cameras. Those two formats are very much able to send UHD content at 2160p to these high definition displays, but lack a connector or format to do so over a single cable.

Currently, only DisplayPort can send 60Hz 4K signals to these new sets...we need a better solution since most manufacturers don't support DisplayPort at present (nor are they likely, since most have drunk the HDMI Kool Aid

HDMI 2.0 תומך גם ב:

•Up to 1536kHz audio sample frequency for the highest audio fidelity
•Simultaneous delivery of dual video streams to multiple users on the same screen
•Simultaneous delivery of multi-stream audio to multiple users (up to 4)
•Support for the wide angle theatrical 21:9 video aspect ratio

Meanwhile current 4K sets from LG, Samsung and Sony use the HDMI 1.4 standard, meaning their 4K inputs cap at 30 fps. The latter two companies, however, say their current 4K TVs can be upgraded to handle HDMI 2.0 too, Sony's via a simple firmware upgrade and Samsung's via some variation of the Evolution Kit.+

חברים, מדובר בצעד הכרחי אבל זה לא הדבר היחיד שצריך להשתנות בשביל שכל הדברים הללו יהיו שמישים ומעשיים.

ללא ההתחלה של HDMI 2 שום דבר טוב יותר לא יקרה .
עכשיו העבודה של היצרנים לספק איכות מוצרים מתאימים .
