why cant i load FACEBOOK?

for some reason, since i installed windows 8 on the computer, i cant go into Facebook.

things i already tried:

1. i tried 2 browsers, IE and chrome

2. tried disabling firewall and antivirus

3. tried pinging the site, didn't get response

as of now i haven't had any problem with any other sites - only Facebook.

[left]if i haven't mentioned it, its a brand new installation of the os. i installed it and the first thing i did is to try and load Facebook, so there is no chance that another program or cache is to blame.[/left]
