I have had problems connecting to my newly installed slingbox in the UK.
Strangely, it is only from my home network that I cannot connect. At work, I have no problems connecting
My ISP here is Bezek BeinLeumi and I have Bezek's standard D-link wireless router.
All the port-forwarding (5001) has been activated successfully in the UK.
The fact that I can connect from certain locations here in Israel confirms this. But how come the slingplayer is being blocked here at home
I saw a thread on this forum about DNS issues possibly causing a problem. I tried switching to googles DNS on the router (8.8.8.
but this didn't work at all and in fact, I lost all connection to the internet when trying this.Any help would be appreciated.
