לאחר 3 שנים מאז שהוצג ה- C-200, אני מאפסן אותו. ה- C-300 בשל עכשיו דיו על מנת להחליף אותו.
היה ראוי כי הקושחה הזו הייתה יוצאת לאור בדצמבר 2011, כשה- C-300 הוצג.
בקרוב הקושחה תגיע גם ל- A-300.

הגרסא עדיין לא כוללת את פתרון הבאג החמור של החלפת סוגי פס הקול.
יש שתי בעיות:
1) כשמחליפים פס קול - הוא פשוט נעלם
2) כשעושים PAUSE - הוא גם נעלם ( לא תמיד אבל לעיתים קרובות).

בושה וחרפה בעיני, אחרי חודשים שמחכים לעידכון.
אצלי זה החליף את ה C200 רק אחרי שהלך לו הספק. מאחר וקיבלתי ספק חלופי, אני חושב לאפסן את ה C300 עד שיוציאו לו גרסא ראויה.

אני להבדיל ממך עדין עם סידרת ה 200 ( c200 ו a210) לא רואה סיבה להחליף לפני שיוצא דגם תומך תלת מלא.

כיום ה- C-300 מאוד מוצלח, עם שלל פתרונות MovieJukeBox, כולל פתרון פשוט של לחיצה על כפתור Info בשלט וקבלת המידע הרצוי עבור אותו קובץ, ממשק משתמש Flash חדש אשר מהיר יותר מסדרת ה- 200, אפשרות להורדת כתוביות בצורה מקוונת, גם עבור כותרי Blu-ray ועוד. אומנם קצת קשה להצדיק שדרוג מסדרת ה- 200, אבל מי שתר היום אחר סטרימר חדש, הוא אחד המובילים.

אמנם העדכון הזה נראה מאסיבי , אבל לפחות הם מעדכנים את הסטרימרים שלהם מדי פעם (בניגוד לחברות אחרות) .

מי שלא חשוב לא תמיכה בתלת ומחפש לרכוש סטרימר יעשה נכון במידה וירכוש את סידרת ה 300.
מי שיש לו כבר את סידרת ה 200 וחשוב לו תמיכה בתלת יעשה נכון במידה וימתין לחדשות ,מהעתיד שמעבר לפינה.

בעיית הפסקול בכותרי Blu-ray תלויה ב- Sigma Designs ולא ב- Popcorn Hour, זאת הסיבה שהבעיה עדיין לא טופלה.

היכולת להציג כתוביות בעברית בתור ערוץ נפרד בקובץ mkv הייתה קלוקלת מכיוון שהכתוביות הוצגו הפוך. בקושחה הקרובה אשר תוצג ממש בקרוב, יוצג תיקון לדבר.
אומנם לא תכונה מאוד חשובה ויש דברים חשובים יותר, אבל התיקון לזה היה קליל ולכן הוא הוכנס.
