It has been found that 'some' 3D-Ready projectors with VGA-only inputs can be used to view Blu-ray 3D discs (or PS3 3D) - ordinarily only 3D projectors with a HDMI input can be used. It has been found that a HDMI to VGA converter box can be used in combination with the Optoma 3DXL to format convert the HDMI1.4a signal to frame-sequential VGA which should be compatible with a wide range of VGA-only 3D-Ready projectors. At this stage this configuration has only been tested with the Acer X1230PK projector, however it is possible it will work with other VGA-only 3D-Ready projectors. The precise combination of equipment is: (1) Panasonic BDT110 3D Bluray player, (2) HDMI High Speed cable, (3) Optoma 3DXL, (4) HDMI High Speed cable, (5) HDMI to VGA converter ("HDMI Converter"),
