אינטל החליטה שלא מספיק לה לחיות רק בפלטפורמת הענק מרדמונד והיא רוצה להתחרות ישירות אל מול מעבדי ARM ששולטים היום בעולם הזה (מובייל). כלומר, אינטל נכנסת ברצינות לשוק של Nvidia, Samsung ,Qualcomm וכמובן אפל (עם ה A5 של האייפד 2). אין ספק שההצלחה הפנומנלית של אנדרואיד וההבנה שהטאבלטים הולכים להיכנס לשוק במלוא העוצמה בשנים הקרובות מניע את אינטל להיכנס לעולם הזה.
