• Video Home Vision in Germany, “Samsung’s greatly enhanced cutting-edge technology will soon be established as standards in this business.”
Samsung Smart TVs draw spotlights from overseas major AV magazines, exploring new TV markets, such as for smart TVs, in the global TV market.
Samsung’s Full HD 3D Smart TVs recently won five-star ratings from T3, one of the top UK magazines specializing in electronic devices. The magazine noted, “The brilliantly engineered Samsung LED ushers in a new internet connected TV era.” T3 said that Samsung’s 5mm wide bezels “virtually hang their images in the air,” and are “a masterful example of entertainment engineering,” praising Samsung’s superb “One” design. It also added, “despite this thinness, the TV set bulges with features,” including Freeview HD, Freesat HD tuners, integrated Wi-Fi as well as Samsung’s new internet connected “Smart Hub” platform, which offers access to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Lovefilm and other apps.
Samsung’s Edge LED backlighting technology received great praise from the UK magazine. T3 said that it was surprised at “how uniform the Edge LED backlighting appears to be, and with live video, there are no obvious hotspots.” It wrote, “You’ll be left wondering just how a border of LED bulbs can illuminate such a huge LED panel so effectively.” T3 continued that the D8000’s 3D performance was outstanding when it comes to image brightness and color fidelity, noting, ”The zombies from Resident Evil 3D” get totally in your face!” It said that the D8000 series are possibly the best we’ve seen from any LCD TV to date. The magazine also did not overlook the excellent 2D quality of the series. “Black level is excellent and there is plenty of shadow detail,” T3 wrote.
The UK magazine praised Samsung’s rear mounted, downward firing stereo speakers, noting, “They do a grand job, offering a surprising amount of volume.” What Hi Fi Sound & Vision, UK’s most popular AV magazine, also awarded 5 stars Samsung’s D8000 series in its April issue, with its front page line, “Samsung’s Brand New Ultra-Slim 3D Star!”
The magazine delivered detailed information on Samsung Smart Hub’s clever features one by one, including Your Video, Search All, and Samsung Apps, praising the series have “fresh interface” which enables users to access everything they want. The UK magazine also added, “Pictures are crisper, cleaner, sharper and more detailed than anything we have ever seen before.” It was also impressed by Samsung Premium 46” set’s competitive price, saying, “We’re smitten.”
CNET UK, one of the world’s renowned AV testing media, has given 5 stars and the CNET Editor’s Choice Award to Samsung’s Full HD 3D TV 8000 series for the set’s superior performance in almost all categories such as picture quality, design, 3D glasses and online functions. Samsung’s D7000 series had also been awarded perfect scores of 5 stars as well as Editor’s Choice Award before.
It said, “Most impressive, though, was how true the TV was to the original Blu-ray image,” adding “the best picture quality we’ve seen from an LCD set.” CNET continued, “Samsung has the best and most comfortable 3D glasses of any manufacturer.”
In particular, CNET depicted the D8000’s built-in Wi-Fi function as a “blessing, especially as most people won’t have a router behind their TV,” without messing about with an Ethernet cable.
Germany’s major AV test magazine, Video Home Vision, has also delivered favorable reviews to Samsung Full HD 3D 8000 TVs, noting that they employed greatly enhanced cutting-edge technology so that they would soon be established as standards in this business. Video Home Vision said it was surprised at how the LED backlighting can appear very uniformly on an ultra-slim 5mm thin screen, and praised greatly, adding that it was a marvelous success in terms of technology, which makes viewers not sense any transition of image pixels from top to bottom.
The magazine wrote that the D8000 series have greater image clarity, and, in particular, viewers no longer need to adjust a blue-ray on their own, thanks to its automatic image optimization function in their simply rearranged menu scenes.
“Samsung’s active shutter 3D glasses are equipped with a Bluetooth device with great accuracy and reliability, leading to less power consumption with a longer battery life,” Video Home Vision wrote. “Active shutter technology minimizes errors, enabling viewers to enjoy 3D images without any obstacles.”
“Samsung’s Smart TVs have garnered praise one after another from world’s renowned AV media. אני מקווה שנתח השוק של הפרללים ילך ויגדל וע"י כך יגביר את התחרות במחירים וישפר את השירות המזוויע והחובבני של מיניליין/סמליין....
בגלל שהם רואים מה שיש להם בידיים הם מייבאים דגמים לא מתאימים לארץ שלנו וגם דגמים פחות איכותיים.
הם מביאים דגמים אסייתים וכנראה בגלל זהטיב המוצר נפגם.
יש להם הרבה טלויזיות בארץ שיש זמזום מהטלויזיה.
לפני כמעט שלוש שנים כשאני קניתי את הטלויזיה שלי הם בכלל לא הביאו את הדגמים שמסתיימים ב30 ורק והביאו רק את הדגמים האיכותיים יותר שמסתיימים ב50.
מבחינתי תימחור - לא משנה לי מה התמחור.
מבחינת שירות - לא משנה לי מה השירות
אבל שייבאו לארץ דגמים אירופאים/אנגלים שמתאימים לנו מבחינת איכות המוצר והטלויזיה.
עד שזה יקרה אני חושב שסמסונג עדיף לרכוש מיבואן מקביל.
