Rotary wheel enhancements; actions can now be ascribed to the rotation/ counter-rotation of the controller’s rotary wheel, eg for controlling volume or light levels.
UPnP/ DLNA; The UPnP/DLNA engine now incorporated into the Pronto platform will make it possible to hook up instantly with other UPnP enabled components. One interesting example is Sonos for which a dedicated ProntoScript module is created.
Please read the documentation and download the module here. Extract the zip file and use the Import ProntoScript Modules... Merge - File menu option in PEP2, in order to add the Sonos_module_V1.8.gef file to your ProntoScript modules buildiing blocks.

Gestures; this feature will allow the creation of an iPhone style interface on any Pronto. Homeowners will be able to adopt a finger-slide approach to Pronto operation, covering a range of common system functions, such as, the super-fast scrolling of song lists and sliding volume control.
An example of gestures can be found here.
Network communication with IP-based devices can now be performed using both TCP and UDP transport protocols, allowing control of an even wider range of network-enabled devices. Multicast UDP (used in dynamic discovery protocols such as SSDP or mDNS) is now also available in ProntoScript.

הגישה של פרונטו היא אמינות של השליטה והמוצר,
IPHONE זה מוצר רב תכליתי שמריץ מערכת הפעלה גמישה יחסית ושניתן להתקין עליו אפליקציות רבות
משום כך אלא אם כן תצא מערכת הפעלה נעולה אין סיכוי שתגיע לרמת האמינות בפרונטו.
הדבר נכון לרוב מערכות השליטה ובקרה הרציניות בשוק.

התקנתי אתמול 2.4.18, אחרי migration של פרויקט שלי, אני מקבל "command failed" ב-simulator
יצרתי קשר עם מפתח אחר, שגם אמר לי שיש בעיות בהסבת פרויקטים עם hard buttons

בקיצור, אני הולך לעשות downgrade כנראה

גרסה קודמת עובדת ללא בעיות

כנראה לקראת ה-CES ולפני ה-XMAS פיליפס הוציאו release לא בשל מספיק

יש המון בעיות תאימות אחורה מאז גירסא 2.

פעם ראשונה מאז שיש לי פרונטו שאי אפשר לייבא באופן מושלם ממכשיר מדור קודם את התכנות.

זה מונע ממני לשדרג.
