I'm intending to buy one of http://www.ninx.com/premiumhtpcs.html to connect to Onkyo HT-S6200 which goes to Panasonic PT-AE4000U. I'm looking for recommendation for the HPTC.

Requirements are for small form factor, will be bought in the US.

Any previous experience with such setup appriciated.

I'm assuming the HPTC will download movies and will be able to play multizone DVD upconverted (the Onkyo upconversion is done on analog only, and is low-quality).

same pc... the only different parts are the case and motherboard
basically it's a question of "box" vs "cube"

how noisy is it ?

don't really know... you'd better search user reviews online about the Shuttle
the HTPC is a normal pc so you can change and upgrade the cooling for more silent operation
