90 Days Retention at Giganews

Giganews is pleased to announce yet another massive storage upgrade for both Giganews' US and European clusters!
Starting today, Giganews' retention will start to climb from ~70 days in binary newsgroups to approximately 90 Days! Giganews is not currently expiring text articles and as such our retention in text groups is well over 1100 days and growing.
Retention is based on the volume of data posted to Usenet. If Usenet posting volume increases or decreases Giganews' retention may also increase or decrease accordingly. We will continue to keep pace with the ever changing face of Usenet so that we can continue to offer you the best newsgroup service available.
