מי שלא רוצה להיתקל בעומס, אך בכל זאת רוצה לבצע את העדכון בהקדם, ניתן פשוט להיכנס לאתר של פופקורן, להוריד את העדכון על DOK, ללכת לפי ההוראות ולהתקין על הפופקורן. בצורה כזאת, העדכון מהיר, ואין תקיעות.
