קושחת אלפא חדשה רואה אור היום לקראת כניסת שבת.
בקושחה זו שולב ה SDK החדש ששוחרר לפני שבועיים יחד עם ה MovieJukeBox הפנימי העצמאי. מעכשיו תכניסו ללקסיקון שלכם NMJ, ראשי תיבות של Network Media JukeBox.

במקביל גם פותח כלי מיוחד אשר ממיר מ YAMJ לפורמט מתאים עבור ה NMJ. שימושי לאלו אשר בעלי DB גדול של YAMJ.

1. Steps to enter JukeBox UI
1.1 While browsing the content of any (writable) storage on sata, usb, smb or nfs,
press red (video wall) or green (music wall) or blue (photo wall) button
(see section 2 below).
1.2 If this is first time, it will prompt for scanning of media files on
your storage device, to build the UI.
1.3 Please ensure that you are connected to the Internet as the additional
information on media files are retrieved from the web.
1.4 Press enter on "ok" and it will start scanning through the storage
for media files. After a few minutes, a progress indicator will be
displayed on top left corner. This process may take from a few
minutes to hours, depending on the amount of content on your storage.

Note: During this period, it may switch to screen saver.
You can interrupt the scanning process with the Stop button.

1.5 Once the scanning is done, it will enter JukeBox UI.
1.6 You may exit back to original ui using the same colored key (see section 2 below)
1.7 The next time you enter the JukeBox UI using the same process as step 1.1,
on the same storage, it will check whether a re-scan is required.

Otherwise, it will enter directly into the JukeBox UI.

3. Exclude Option for Scanning
When you enter a device and activate the NMJ, it will scan the device for video-, music- and photofiles.
You can exclude folders with different options.
As example, if you have a Yamj folder on your Device then i would place the ".no_all.nmj" into the folder,
if you don't do that it will aggregate all your images inside the yamj folder and show them on the Photo NMJ.

3.1 Exclude everything
- Creat-e a file called ".no_all.nmj", place it on the device, or into a folder which you wanna exclude.
3.2 Exclude Videofiles
- Creat-e a file called ".no_video.nmj", place it on the device, or into a folder where you wanna exclude Videofiles.
3.3 Exclude Musicfiles
- Creat-e a file called ".no_music.nmj", place it on the device, or into a folder where you wanna exclude Musicfiles.
3.4 Exclude Images
- cr-eate a file called ".no_photo.nmj", place it on the device, or into a folder where you wanna exclude Images.

4. Known issues

Note: The JukeBox UI is in alpha release. We apologise for having a long list of known issues.
We are keen to get your feedback and bug report so that we can do continuous improvements and
bug fix on it.

4.1 Occasional hang at scanning process.
4.2 Multilanguage music id3. Unpredictab-le behaviour on the Wall.
4.3 In Music list, Music info missing album
4.4 Improve message while scanning
4.5 Photo thumbnail and preview sometimes get the wrong rotation
4.6 Photo Wall sort by date base on day may not be practical
4.7 Hard to switch from music playback back to Music Wall
4.8 Slideshow info bar shows less information than thumbnail info bar
4.9 All episodes comes out as same name and no further info
4.10 When in Now Playing, will return to Wall briefly between tracks.
4.11 To show audio playlist at Now Playing
4.12 If scanning is not cleanly terminated in this release. Incomplete process will result
in missing information on UI.
4.13 Not able to play bdj content from JukeBox UI
4.14 Album art only support jpg format
4.15 Photo aggregation through samba may fail if the total number of photos is more than 900

תגידו רק אני חושב שהעניין הזה מגוחך עד טירוף?!
כל שבועיים הם מוצאים עוד איזה גירסת אלפא או ביטא או גמא או דלתא אבל שם זה נשאר תקוע במשך שבועות וחודשים שלמים....המוזר בעיני הוא שחלקכם עומדים ומוחאים כפיים לשיחרורים האלה כאילו הם עושים לנו טובה!

הנה משהו שהכנתי בדיוק בשבילם כדי שאולי הם ילמדו איך עובד ה Dev Cycle בעולם ההיטק...נראה לי שהם פיספסו איזה שלב אחד או שניים

מסובך עד כמה?! שבוע, שבועיים, חודש, חודשים, חצי שנה, שנה?! יותר מחצי שנה פורסמו סרטונים על ה JB ועכשיו זה רק הגיע לגירסת אלפא.....אתם דיברתם על זה פה בשרשור שגירסת הביטא האחרונה שהם הוציאו לפני מספר שבועות היא גירסה מעולה שפותרת המון דברים ויותר מזה דיברת על כך שזאת-זאת הגירסה איתה המכשיר היה צריך לצאת לשוק....אז אני בציפייה אומר וואלה הנה פתרו סוף סוף כמה בעיות עם ניגון Blu-ray Rips, יש תמיכה בניגון m2ts בדידים ועוד הרבה תיקוני באגים....אז למה, לכל הרוחות, צריך לחכות עוד כמה חודשים כדי שידחפו גם JB כחלק מהגירסה?!

בדיוק בגלל מה שרשמתי מוקדם יותר, חברת PH חושבת שזה לא עדכון מספיק משמעותי והם מעוניינים כי קושחת ה Public הבאה תכיל גם את ה NMJ.

לי אין תלונות, יש לי מספר סטרימרים אחרים, ועד היום לאף אחד מהם אין אפילו פיתרון JB אחד...

בפופקורן אני כבר מעל לחצי שנה נהנה מ-JB פנימי, ואני מאוד מרוצה שהם דואגים לפתח JB מובנה, במקביל לממשק ייחודי, אשר אמורים לקחת את המוצרים שלהם עוד צעד קדימה.

לא הכל מושלם, אבל לפעמים גם צריך לדעת לפרגן.

לפרגן על מה?! חודשים על חודשים אתה מפמפם לכל משתמש פוטנציאלי בפורום שעוד מעט הולכת להשתחרר גירסה שתכיל JB פנימי ותוסיף יכולות חדשות למכשיר ותפתור באגים קיימים, אבל שום דבר בפועל לא משתחרר.......איך אתה ממשיך להיות מרוצה מזה, אין לי מושג?!
שאלה לי אלייך...נניח שעד דצמ' הם לא ישחררו את ה JB, האם גם אז תחשוב שהכל תקין והגיוני ותמשיך לפרגן להם? אז אצלי כבר עברו חודשים מאז שעברתי את סף הפירגון שלי והגעתי לסף הגיחוך!

למרות שמכשיר ה C-200 הוא טוב ואני די מרוצה ממנו, אני הפסקתי "לשווק" אותו בפורום כי אני חושב שפשוט לא מגיע להם "פירסום" כזה. לגבי החברה השנייה (X), שם זה בכלל קטע הזוי עשרות מונים מהסיפור של פופקורן ו NMT, שם חברה X עברו כל גבול וכל קו אדום קיים

האמת, נראה לי שאתה באמת לוקח את קצת יותר מדי רחוק...

אני מסכים לחלק מן הדברים, אבל אני ממש לא לחוץ, מסיבה מאוד טובה - גם לי וגם לך יש חלופות טובות (לך YAMJ ולי OVERSIGHT) - פריבילגיה שלא קיימת אצל המתחרים...

בדקתי את הבטא:

- סרטי בלוריי עם תרגום חיצוני נתקעים ולא עולים.
- לגבי ה JB הפנימי, ביצעתי סריקה לדיסק עם מעט סרטים וסדרות, והוא פשוט נתקע.
