אבל אולי יש DVD שמנגנים AVI.

The WD TV maybe be limited, but for most people it is good enough and the price is right for its features.
You probably aren't downloading in HD, because up until now you didn't have an HD TV - now that you have one you may start using more HD - so if buying
something new, consider HD support (and mkv files)
Finally, I had a DVD player that read DIVX and it was such a pain in the ass to burn the DVD everytime I wanted to watch something I would really not recommend this.
Go with one that at least has a USB reader, but again, if you are buying something new consider spending a couple more hunderd NIS on something that supports mkv.

From what I understand Popcorn Hour might, but I am not familiar with the product at all and it is double the price of the WD TV.
