היו הרבה תלונות על DTS Dropouts, בגרסת קושחה זו בעיות אלו נפתרו לחלוטין.
המידע שהתווסף לחלון ה Info בהחלט מצויין! אנחנו יכולים לראות את רזולוציית הקובץ המנוגן, רזולוציית יציאה ו Hz, קידוד האודיו וידאו ועוד...
שימו לב שעדיין אין תמיכה בתגים שונים כגון , & - מה שה A-100 עושה הוא פשוט מפלטר את התגים החוצה כך שלא יופיעו על התצוגה.
במידה ומנגנים קובץ בעל כתוביות מובנות, אם קיים קובץ כתוביות חיצוני - הוא גובר על הכתוביות המובנות.
בעיית התרגום שנעלם לאחר TrickPlay נעלמה לחלוטין.
זהו עדכון מצויין ואני מקווה שישוחרר בקרוב בגרסת Release על מנת שכולם יוכלו להנות ממנו.

יש לצפות כי עדכון זה (או רובו לפחות) יגיע בקרוב גם ל ISTAR & HD X 900.

למען האמת זה ה OK שאני מחכה לו ..כדי להזמין את אחד מהNMT הקיימים היום.

נדמה לי באתר של ISTAR..דובר על גירסת נגן NMT עם רשת אלחוטית בתקן N מובנה שתצא בסוף אפריל יחד עם HDMI1.3
(להזרמת תכני HD כבדים ללא שום מאמץ)

הבנת נכון, מדובר על תמיכה דרך Dongle.
כמובן שטענה זאת מצד Syabas מחייבת בדיקה על מנת לוודא כי ניגון תכנים בדרך זו יציב ומאפשר הזרמה של תכנים בקצב נתונים גבוה.
לפי הידוע לי (ויתכן שאני טועה), תמיכה ב 11n אצל ISTAR תהיה גם באמצעות Dongle.

טוב שאתה מזכיר לי (ואל תתבייש להזכיר), הם אמרו שהם יכניסו את זה לישיבת הפיתוח השבועית שלהם לפני שבועיים. אני אבדוק איתם מה קורה בנושא.

מבטיח להזכיר מדי פעם. הם צריכים להבין שיש קהל שהולך וגדל שמשתמש במדיה סנטר של מיקרוסופט, והמוצר לקהל היעד הזה הוא מבחינתם פתרון משלים מצויין לחדרי השינה, כאשר כל ההקלטות נעשות ב-HTPC אשר בסלון או בשרת מולטימדיה בחדר העבודה.

אם Syabas יצליחו לשים בתוכנה (נגיד, בדור הבא של התוכנה) גם את כל תכונות האקסטנדר למדיה סנטר (הכי חשוב - סטרימינג מכרטיסי PVR שנמצאים ב-HTPC וזפזופ בהם. תכנות הקלטות מרחוק פחות חשוב), אז בכלל מדובר בלהיט לא נורמלי. אני משוכנע שהדבר אפשרי, ופלטפורמת החומרה של הפופקורן/MNT מספיק חזקה בשביל לעשות את זה, ואז גם לא נצטרך לשים ממיר בחדר השינה - רק פופקורן קטן וחמוד ומסך.

סטרימינג מכרטיסי PVR כבר נתמך לדעתי על ידי plugins בצד השרת (מבוססי תוכנה), לא קראתי יותר מידי בנושא כי אני חסיד max & magic.

זיו , יש אפשרות "ללחוץ" על המפתחים של פופקורן שיכניסו אפשרות לצפייה בשמות קבצים בעברית ?

ללחוץ תמיד אפשר. העברתי להם שלל בקשות, הם בודקים את החשיבות של כל אחת וכמה עולה להם לפתח בכיוון ולפי זה נעשות ההחלטות.
אני מבטיח שבוע הבא לבדוק שוב את המצב.
