לא שווה להמתין שיתקנו את הבעיה ?

זו ניראת כמו בעית חומרה, ולא משהוא שהם יוכלו לתקן בשדרוג תוכנה.
זה גם לא איזה משהוא מינורי. ממש אי אפשר להשתמש במכשיר.

בסרט מדגימים שגם אם בחדר/ברכב/במעלית יש מכשיר טלפון אחר שנמצא ב 2G אז הווליום בנקסוס משתנה.

זו כנראה בעיית חומרה, כי בסרט השני הבדיקה היא בכלל ב boot loader, כאשר מערכת ההפעלה עוד לא עלתה בכלל.
גם שם רואים את הבעיה.

פעם אחת מותר לאכשל ,אבל פעמיים רצוף ,לNS היה "Restart Gate" ,לGalaxyNexus יש "VolumeGate" ,לא נמאס לגוגל למכור מכשירים עם באגים בגדד ההזוי כמו זה ?

אני חושבת שבכלל, כל החברות, גם סמסונג וגם אפל, כל כך בלחץ להספיק להפציץ מכשירים, וזה על חשבון איכות הבדיקות של המוצר.. הן ממהרות לשחרר מוצרים - קודם שאנשים יקנו, ימצאו באגים תוך כדי שימוש (לא תמיד בודקים פנימיים יכולים לעלות על הכל ועוד בזמן כל כך קצר) ויתקנו תוך כדי.. זה מלחץ ומאילוצים של זמן, לא מ"חפיפיניקיות".. זה מה שאני חושבת..

אני ציפיתי מגוגל לכנס מסיבת עיתונאים ענקית ואז לתת תשובה בנוסח: "אתם לא משתמשים בכפתור הווליום כמו שצריך".
במסיבת העיתונאים יראו כל מיני הדגמות עם מכשירי סימביאן, iOS, WP7 וכו'... כדי להראות שהבעיה היא בעצם גלובלית.
ובסוף לפתור את הבעיה ע"י חלוקת אוזניות לכל מי שרכש את המכשיר.

מה זה?
ככה לא עומדים בכללים ובחוקים???

Dear Mr Kniaz,

You may have heard or read about the 'volume bug' issue that is affecting some users of the Galaxy Nexus smartphone.

We are contacting ALL customers about this issue. Please read our official statement below:

We are now pleased to be able to update you regarding the situation on the Galaxy Nexus and the issue regarding volume errors on some devices.

We tested the devices yesterday when they arrived and we did find the error in some of the phones but it appeared only to affect devices in poor signal areas using 900mhz frequency.

This was obviously of great concern so we were in discussions with various people and specialists yesterday morning to clarify the situation. We did not wish to make an announcement until a clear solution had been given by Google.

We can now confirm that Google were alerted early to this issue and have been working on a fix. It is software related and as you may have seen from various forum and blog posts this morning, they are now able to confirm that they will have a fix. It is NOT hardware related. We cannot yet say the precise date that this fix will be released but it is expected very soon.

The software update will be pushed out to devices by Google, free of charge, the moment it is available.

Given the discussions we had and this soon to be released update, we were happy to dispatch our devices, we simply could not make any official announcement until we had a clear solution.

We of course pride ourselves on the communication that we have with our customers and we were aware of the large number of enquiries we were getting about this yesterday from various media sources.

Whilst you may be frustrated by the way we have handled this, we have handled it this way to offer what we believe to be the best and most effective solution to the situation in hand.

For many of you, your device will now be on its way to you and the update will be following very soon.

We hope however you will understand that we wanted to give you clear and confirmed information before we made the announcement. We will of course update you (via http://blog.clove.co.uk) as soon as we have more information.

כך גם google nexus S ב529$ מההתחלה ואז עשיתי טעות ולא קניתי
אז למה המכשיר הזה נמכר בכאלה סכומים ? מה שונה פה?
SGS2 בamazon עולה היום סביב 530$.
למה להשקיע במכשיר הזה סכום של 850$ ומעלה??
בנוסף, פעם היתרון הגדול של מכשירי google היתה התאימות קדימה לגרסאות חדשות של אנדרואיד.
כיום אני לא חושב שSGS נותן משהו פחות טוב בבהקשר הזה.
