Breaking News - Walmart Selling Toshiba HD-DVD Player for $198!
According to eyewitness sightings, and a report by CNN Money/Fortune Magazine, many local Walmart stores have started selling the Toshiba HD-A2 HD-DVD player for a record breaking price of $198. If you have been considering the purchase of an HD-DVD player, this is a very good price for an entry level high-def player.
On the Blu-ray side of the equation, the least expensive Blu-ray Disc player currently available is the Sony BDP-S300, which sells for about $499. Sony will also be releasing a new Blu-ray Player-equipped Sony Playstation 3 for $399 in November.
